We led the effort for standardization of office furniture (workstations and private offices), typical equipment requirements, and consistency in design, finishes, and overall aesthetic appearance.
PSG managed XO’s new headquarters office move, which included assisting with the architect and GC selection, managing the design and construction process, the security and signage coordination, IT and AV coordination.
The relocation management plan incorporated complicated logistics, as the PSG team reconfigured floor plans, procured additional stations, managed cabling, and IT requirements two weeks before the scheduled moves.
PSG managed the build out and installation of a 3,000 SF data center, stand-by generator, UPS and special air conditioning system, resulting in a construction cost reduction of 75% on a planned $28 million data center, and the disposal of over $2 million in excess product inventory. This provided XO Communications a return of over $10.00 for every $1.00 of fee earned by PSG.
