PSG provided Project, Construction, Relocation Management, and Real Estate Advisory Services to American Institutes for Research (AIR), a nonprofit, nonpartisan behavioral and social science research organization based in the Washington, DC area. With over 1,600 employees, AIR is one of the largest social science research organizations in the world.
Project SOLUTIONS Group managed the design, construction, schedule and budget for this multi-phased project. Construction and renovations include over 88,000 SF. We also managed AIR’s move from all three Washington DC area locations to their respective new buildings, which included approximately 330 people. Swing space was required to house occupants during work phases.
PSG developed RFP’s for architects, general contractors, and various suppliers of products and services. We reviewed bid proposals, held interviews and advised AIR in their selections, along with recommending subcontractors and specialists.
AIR utilized PSG’s National Purchasing Program to reduce product costs and/or expedited material lead times. We coordinated all delivery and installation of furniture, fixtures, signage, security and artwork.
This project was completed on time and on budget, resulting in a new modern space and a happy client.
